Re: Air travel for people with disabilities

In real life flying is still a a majour problem despite all promises.  But flying often becomes a pain. Because sitting in the wheelchair makes a difference. There only seldom is a board wheelchair in the airplane with which one can use the toilet. A disabled person reports: "I once had to promise a stewardess that I don't have to go on the loo." Otherwise they wouldn't have taken him on board.  There is a clear need that airline companies are committed to doing barrier free toilets.

But large airline companies like Lufthansa don't intend to rebuild her airplanes. It is simply too expensive. "It is all about a small group with very special needs here", sayed a spokesman of the enterprise.

Re: Air travel for people with disabilities

yes... its a real problem for disable person who cant walk. long flying is like a nightmare to them. i think all the flights should maintain international standard in providing facilities to the disable travellers. more to this the UN should pass a law for this.
